The Island is a group of highly-motivated individuals who think that the quality of life for the majority of us could be vastly improved if we try something new.

It’s time to start testing the water for a new socioeconomic model. No, it's not communism or socialism, or anything else you've ever heard of. Think more along the lines of a "social meritocracy". How would you feel if the leaders of our companies, communities and governments were the most competent, most knowledgeable and most compassionate people--as opposed to...well, you know. The Incas figured this out a millennium ago. It's not rocket science.

The Island seeks to pull back from the political and economic aspects of our world that are broken, and gently replace them with new concepts and constructs that maximize the quality of life for everyone. Everyone!
